1. Who is the data controller

2. What data we collect and why

When you request a quote, we collect your name, mobile number, email address, the location of the project, the type of work and the description you write. We use them for a single purpose: to respond to your request, arrange the site visit and prepare the proposal. The legal basis is the taking of steps at your request prior to entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR) and, for follow-up communications, your consent.

We also record the page the request came from and the campaign parameters (for example, whether you arrived via an advert), so that we know which channels work. We do not carry out profiling or automated decision-making.

3. Where the data is kept and who has access to it

Requests are recorded in the company’s own management system, hosted on our own servers in Portugal, with encrypted backups. Email is provided by Hostinger International Ltd (European Union). Only the Limite Padrão staff handling your request have access to the data. We do not sell or transfer data to third parties for marketing purposes.

4. How long we keep the data

Requests that did not lead to a contract: 24 months after the last contact, so that we can resume the conversation if you need us again. Contracted projects: for the statutory period for keeping accounting records and for the warranty on the work. You can request erasure before these periods end (section 6).

5. Cookies

This site does not use tracking cookies or analytics tools that identify visitors. To find out which photos and videos are of most interest, the site counts, without identifying anyone, how many times each one was shown, viewed or opened, as well as taps on the call and WhatsApp buttons; these figures are stored on our own servers, in aggregate only, per visit and per day, without IP addresses or any personal data, and without third-party services. The testimonial videos load from YouTube (cookie-free domain) when the testimonials section appears on screen, playing muted; from that point on, YouTube’s and Google’s policies apply.

The quote request stores what you write only on your device, in the browser’s storage, so that nothing is lost if you leave part-way through. None of it reaches us before you press ‘Send request’. It is deleted when you send the request, when you press ‘Start again’, or after 7 days.

6. Your rights and how to exercise them

You have the right to access your data, have it rectified, request its erasure, restrict or object to its processing, and receive a copy in a commonly used format. To exercise any of these rights, send an email to geral@limitepadraoconstrucao.com with the subject ‘Personal data’, from the email address you used in your request. We reply within one month at most. If you are not satisfied, you can lodge a complaint with the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados, the Portuguese supervisory authority (cnpd.pt).

7. Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with the date it was updated.
